Julep April Box

So last month I was thinking about unsubscribing to Julep's monthly subscription. Mainly because I wasn't all that excited with the first box I got, which was a matte red nail polish, a gold glitter polish, and a cuticle oil. It was ok, but the subscription costs 20 dollars a month and I felt like I could get nail polishes I wanted and could pick out for that much. But I didn't and felt like I would give it another try. And I am sooo glad that I did!

I got 3 nail polishes this month (I changed my profile to It Girl because really all I want is polishes, but with the other profiles sometimes you get lotions and oils for your nails, hands or feet.)
So I got three new nail polishes, Jessica - which is the light blue one, Penelope - light pink, and Neicy - a bit of a darker more creamy pink.

I really, really love them all! And before I opened my package, it actually sat on my desk for a good 20 minutes that's how unenthusiastic I was lol. But once I did open it I saw these beautiful polishes! And I am so in love with this blue I can't even tell you how much. It's absolutely gorgeous. All three colors are perfect for spring, and if you like decorating your nails for various holidays they will definitely come in handy for Easter!

And that's not even all! They came with this big black, beautiful bag for your nail polishes. I didn't show it here but inside there are little pockets that your Julep polishes will fit in perfectly! And it has this cute little flower on the zipper. Also in the box came two toe separators! I got orange ones but I watched some videos and there are different colors, my OCD side is happy I didn't get two different colors lol!

And if all that wasn't enough, inside hidden in the green grass like paper decorations were a bunch of little chocolate eggs! They are totally eaten by now so you won't be able to see them lol!

I can honestly say that I am very happy I didn't unsubscribe. This was a great box! If you would like to sign up, please do so here! It will give me referral points :-D! And if you get two friends to sign up you get a free Julep box! I know I'll be getting next months box for sure! You can also find the nail polishes for sale on that site if you'd rather buy them separately. They're 14 dollars each (About 11 dollars for members). But sign up! It definitely was worth it for me this month.

The Subscription is 19.99 a month but if you put in the code 'PENNY' When you check out, you will get your first box for only 1 cent! Which is really really awesome!

Orofluido Elixir

I was going to do a whole post on my Birchbox, which was super late btw! Lol... but I haven't tried all the products and they're all fairly new to me.

But today! I did just try the Orofluido elixer for your hair, it comes in a cute little bottle and smells like a very subtle vanilla. After trying Keracolor I was worried about trying this one because I didn't want to end up with a big gloppy mess all over my head. But it... is.. amazing. I can't stop touching my hair honestly. It feels so soft and smooth!

(Click the picture to go buy it!)

I highly highly recommend this! It is a little expensive but you don't need to use that much at all, so it should last for a long time anyway. And as if my raving wasn't enough, you should know that it is made up of very healthy oils! So you won't be putting a bunch of junk in your beautiful hair.

That really is all I can say, you NEED to try it, go go!!

Skin79 Crystal Pearl BB Cream

I just received this in the mail after watching Michelle Phan use it 500 times in her videos, lol! And I knew I had to try it, especially after I went to the website to check it out! It's not really a bronzer or a cover up as much as it is an enhancer for your face. It makes your face shiny without making it oily, more sparkly... Kind of like what you would see on a movie star!

When I first tried it on I was really super excited. I applied it in a very youtube makeup guru kind of way (lol) and even took my new kabuki brush to blend it in. And it really did look like my face was lit up by dozens of jewels! I loved it!

It also comes with an extra hidden little compartment in the tip, if you open it up you get a shimmery type of makeup to add to your nose or t-bone to highlight those areas! This has become one of my favorite things, it can really brighten up dull kind of boring skin and make you sparkle and shine.

These are the ingredients they have listed up on the site, so not only does it make you look great, but it is really good for your skin too!
You can find the cream here on the Pretty and Cute site. I really recommend this like crazy, you won't be disappointed. It is amazing!

I wanted to blog about my Birchbox today, because it was supposed to be here today, but it never came! So hopefully tomorrow, :-D.

Stay sweet! And sparkley!

First! March Glambag Review

Hello! Welcome to my blog, this will be my very first post, yay! I'll cut out all my intro chat and get right to it, since we just got out our March Glam bags I want to talk about that first!

(You can click on pictures to make em bigger!)
MyGlam is a subscription site, launched back in December, 10 dollars a month, you receive 4-5 full size or deluxe samples. Now before you get excited, the first few months were VERY awesome, recently it hasn't been so hot. But they're promising great things so if you haven't subscribed yet and want to give it a try I do recommend it for a few reasons!

First and my favorite! The community! Yes you have your usual complainers and downers but overall a lot of people are SO helpful! And I love that the founders of myglam stop by and actually comment and interact with everyone. They also have beauty tutorials every month for the products we receive, random fun pictures, contests, posts.. ect. I would check that out for sure even if you can't subscribe yet! Check it out on facbook!

Second of course is the makeup and products! While the products have not been full size or very big at all lately, they have been nice enough brands. You'll see below what I'm talking about! And if you want to see all the products released in previous months, those are at the website as well!

So let's get to it! This months Glambag.
Now I LOVE this months bag! The actual bag I mean lol, I think that it is so cute!

So you can see this month was mostly ads, coupons and tiny samples. I did end up getting the Absolute Bronzing Boost spf15 but I'm not a big bronzer person, I'm very light skinned and this particular color has the tendency to make me look like an oompa loompa.

As for the brush, it is very "OK" I mean it's soft, and if they're going to give out more brushes for a set I can't complain!
All in all this bag was only 10 dollars so I guess you get what you paid for, but most of this could have easily been picked out of a magazine or gotten down at the mall for free.

My absolute favorite thing in this bag, besides the bag lol... was the Dermstore.com giftcard, you get 25 dollars off a purchase of 50 dollars or more, and that is worth it to me because I've been on a huge makeup/nailpolish buying binge!

I also have to mention something about the KeraColor.. I got another sample from them for being one of the first 500 to 'Like' Their page on FB, and I used it yesterday, I did use it according to directions and it left my hair a big shiny greasy mess. I recommend not using this unless you have some time to wash it out in case this happens to you too!

As for the tiny samples... I am excited to use the Pur-Lisse one, I have been excited to try their products for a while and I had hoped to get the lip nourisher instead of the bronzer, but oh well on that! The eye sample will probably sit around for a while lol.

And that's it for my March Glambag! As I said before it's worth a shot there are supposed to be changes coming up, including more makeup and whatnot. So I do recommend it even if this month wasn't all that great sample wise, I did like the bag and coupon.

Stay Sweet!
